time out of mind

24 April 2007 by jaksoul

Been a few days out for me.

Head space is a valuable commodity when life is so permanently crazy-busy. It’s time just staring at the view from my bedroom window, or hanging out in the park with the sunshine blazing through the trees that gets me back to zero after a heavy few weeks

That a listening to tunes like this.

Something about that beautifully building melodic line, calming, yet gradually building in intensity as the solos find their momentum. First discovered through a one-off Sean P compilation that used to grace the staff listening selection at 42 Notting Hill High St and treasured ever since.

If you’ve had a bad day and need to escape for 7 minutes and 14 seconds, I have just the remedy.
