Personally I’m not a superbig fan of Fourtet, so I’m not camping out on the new remix album them folks at Domino are batting out come the month’s end, but bring a Stones Throw element to most anything and i’m inclined to sit up and take notice.

Save for one bottom of the sake-barrel taster i’ve caught of Jay Love Japan this year’s J. Dilla releases have been the amongst the head noddingest output of the 2006, and made all the more poignant by his death at such a young age in February.

True to form, this Jay Dee remix of Fourtet’s As Serious As Your Life is d-ope.
