give us this day

I’m a mildly obsessional sort.
No, scratch that, i’m an enthusiastic sort.
If something grabs me, i’m sold into it until the next best thing comes along to float my boat. I’ll listen to it on loop for hours.
That, my friends, is my daily bread.
It doesn’t have to be new - it can be old.
Like today. When the weather changes and you’re scrabbling for something to wear because its raining but still freaking muggy outside, and anyhow, how do you dress for that kind of thing without looking like you hadn’t a clue what was going on outside of your duvet when you got up? So you’re trying to find the shirt that says ’sure i’m summerwear but can rock an umbrella as well as the next mac’ when Bam! at the bottom of a drawer is that ancient, worn to perfection tee which does all that and sets off the selvage contrast stitching on your no brand japanese hand formed jeans.
Well, today that tshirt is listening to Eddie Kendricks’ Girl You Need a Change of Mind. (Told you it was perfect).
